For week of 6/9/08

1.      Nancy B. – Praising God that my brother-in-law, Doug, has found temporary work, but still needs permanent work.

2.      Jerry B. – my wife, Peggy, who has lymph-edema, had infected wounds on her legs which are now 20 percent smaller and her pain level has reduced considerably.  Thank you Lord Jesus!

1.      Lola – Praise the LORD!  Her last PET scan showed no signs of cancer. 

For week of 5/19/08

1.      Donna S. – Doug is doing better.  Thank you Lord!  Also, my niece, Sarah, is out of the hospital after having a virus settle in her heart.  She has no insurance and two small boys.  God continues to heal her.  Thank you Jesus.

1.       Donna S. – mom, Buggs, her surgery went well and there were no complications.  My God is with me.

For week of  4/21/08

1.      Dawn L. – daughter, Vanessa, has started to take the first steps toward getting her life together and getting back on track spiritually.  Your continued prayer support would be greatly appreciated.

2.      Dawn L. – Praise the LORD, He is so awesome!  Thank God for His wonderful answer to prayer in His timing!  Thank God for the apartment He has given to me.

1.      Gary B. – Thank you for all your prayers during and after Brenda’s thyroid surgery.  The surgery went very well and the recovery time minimal.

1.      Dawn L. – Praise God for the healing He is doing in Janyce & Janine.  Praise Him for the many ways I am growing closer to Him and for the way He has provided for me.  Praise God for the opportunities to witness and share with others how God is using this time of being homeless to teach me to depend on Him.

1.      Beverly L. – for son, Michael, who is doing very well after heart surgery.  He expects to return to work on March 3.  Thank you for your prayers.

2.      Tim W. – grandson, Beckham, is out of the hospital.

3.      Dawn L. – Praise God my daughter, Vanessa, has been able to change her major and will be able to graduate from Biola on time.  Also, praise God for the peace He has given me and the way in which He has provided for me during this time of being homeless.  Praise God for healing Vanessa & Chuck and also for starting to heal Janine and Janyce.

4.      Anonymous – just released from rehab/detox center.  An answer to pray is I got a job!  Thank you LORD!

1.      Jamie S. – Praise the Lord!  The MRI showed that Brandon’s cyst on his brain has not grown.  Still need to see a neurosurgeon to find the cause of his headache, but this is great news!  Thank you for your prayers!

1.      Jamie S. – Praise the Lord that the doctor approved giving son, Brandon, an MRI on his brain now, instead of waiting for three months.

2.      Justin R. – My prayer for my girlfriend and I has been answered.  Praise the Lord, thank you Jesus!  We’re doing awesome.  God has truly worked a miracle and continues to do so with our relationship, with her family’s loving acceptance, and has changed and renewed hearts.

1.      Christy R. – as of July 05, my tinnitus has been habituated, meaning the brain has made a habit out of it, so it is no longer bothersome.  Basically, the treatment program in Atlanta by the founder of TRT, Dr. Jastreboff, worked.  I hear the sound 24/7, but it is only a background noise, not in my face as it was when it first started.  Thank you if you said one prayer for me while I was in the program.  I am here to tell you your prayer did its job.  It’s a miracle!

1.      Hannah B. – my brother Jonathan, 16, prayed to accept the LORD earlier this week!  Thank you to everyone who’s been praying for my brothers.  Also, my mom got a job as a nanny and loves it!  Thank you for all your prayers for my family.

1.      Greg & Jamie – son Brandon’s headaches are getting better.  They’re not as frequent.

For week of  12/18/06

1.      Nan H. – husband, Gary’s, had an Ablation on 12/16 and halfway through the procedure (on the right side) his heart went back into normal rhythm and slowed down by itself.  This meant that the doctors didn’t have to cut inside the heart to work on the left side and he will heal faster.

1.      Nancy B. – her husband Chris got a new job!

1.       Robin – mother-in-law, Aurellia, has been completely release from medical restrictions due to stroke.  She’s driving again.  Thank you for your prayers!

1.      Nancy B. – my friend’s 3-year-old, Mahalia, continues to improve with her therapies after going through brain surgery in July.  She might go home in 3-4 weeks!  Thank you, Jesus.

For week of  11/6/06

1.      Olivia H. – The LORD blessed me with a terrific car!  He knows our needs and loves to meet them!

2.      Shelley A. – I start training for my new job at Disney Travel Company on November 18 (part time, for now).

3.      Laurie D. – My mom is now at home with the LORD and no longer in pain or suffering with her illness.

For week of  10/30/06

1.      Gary H. - Nan's dad Jack had surgery to increase blood flow to his heart. It was very successful - praise God. Please pray that he will continue to do well and keep improving.  Also, my heart procedure is NOW working - for the first time in over 15 years I have a normal heart beat - Praise God. Please pray that it will stay this way for the future. (The procedure varies on how long it will last).

2.      John Bonner – thanks for praying for the outreach in Cajamarca, Peru.  116 student missionaries blanketed this city in the Andes mountains with the gospel.  There was a great openness to the gospel.  Pastor Diego Recarte, who remained behind to establish Calvary Chapel Cajamarca, along with his wife Patty, their two daughters (Luhana and Tamara), and our two Peruvian missionaries, Miluska Panduro and Jose Luis Soto, let us know that 26 new lambs attended the new fellowship this past Sunday morning!  We rejoice in the fruit of this outreach and the new church that is forming in Cajamarca.

3.      Jose Luis – thanks for your prayers for Magarita’s cancer surgery on 10/23.  Everything went very, very smoothly.  Pray for recovery and further healing.

1.      Laurie – Kim and Caleb celebrated the birth of their daughter, Hope, on Wed, 10/11.  Praise God!

1.      Jamie S. – Nephew, Aaron’s, emergency surgery on Friday went well.  There were not any complications.  Thank you for praying.

1.      Donna S. – My mom, Clarice, is able to sit up, can nod yes or no to answer, tries to speak and can move her limbs.  This is answer to prayer.  Thank you for all your prayers.  Keep praying please, as only God can enable her to make a full, or almost full, recovery.

1.      Jamie S. – my cousin, Thomas’, surgery went well and they were able to remove the tumor from his back/spine. Thank you for your prayers.

2.      Jamie S. – I really appreciate all the prayers for my kidney stone.  It finally passed this weekend.  Prayer is really powerful!

1.      Nancy B. - Three-year old Mahalia is recovering well from her brain surgery 1 month ago.  She’ll be moving to a good rehabilitation facility in Orange this week.  God has provided for the family in so many ways (meals, gifts, hotel stay for the family).

1.      Olivia H. – Praise the Lord for His provision.  He held my job and my home in His tender hands while I served in Israel!  He continually shows His faithfulness in all details of my life!!

1.       Barbara W. – Praise the Lord!  The cause of my pain is a short leg.  I got new shoes and while I still have arthritis, I am very much improved!  God bless you!

1.      Donna S. – My brother says that the cancer is gone.  I wanted to give God the praise and glory because no one can heal cancer, but our God--Jesus.  David’s to go back in six months to see if he is still cancer free.

1.  Joe T. –my ex wife, Pam, was told she may have lymph cancer, but after further tests and a biopsy, it was discovered that she had a lymph node infection not cancer.  Thank all of you who prayed for her.

2.   Greg S. – friend, Jeremy, his cancer has been removed through surgery.

3.   Bev L. – I got the report back today that my doctor got all my skin cancer out.  Thank you for your prayers!

1.      Donna S. – Doug’s angiogram turned out fine.  His arteries are in great shape!

1.      Cheri B. – Thank God for his touch on my son, Sean, who is doing better physically.  He has begun to kick his legs again.

2.      Antoinette B. – For daughter-in-law, Teri, 30.  After being told she may need heart bypass surgery, the doctors performed an angioplasty, and found a blockage in the groin area, but when they got the heart area, there were no blockages to be found!  The doctors were amazed!  Thank you so much for your prayers.  We rejoice in a great and merciful God who heals and performs miracles!!  Glory to our God!

1.       Jamie S. – Aaron had surgery on his skull and ears and he is doing much better.  Additionally he is now walking at the age of 4, while wearing his braces.  He can also walk around the house a little without his braces.

2.      Nancy B. & Sue C. – Our mom, Sylvia, has returned home after being in the hospital and care center for nearly five months.  Her diabetes insipidus seems to have improved somewhat, and she can now walk on her own.

1.       Marion C. – for Rod Burley, Lyle’s father, his blood clots are now gone and he can manage his heart condition by medication and not surgery.

1.      Christy R. – I just wanted to let everyone know that the husband of my friend, Tricia (she went home to be with the Lord recently) found her palm pilot.  He said that one of her things to do (when she felt better) was to go to our church and thank us for our prayers.  All of us made a difference in Tricia and her family’s life.  She said to me that some nights, she knew our prayers were the reason she made it through.  It keeps encouraging me to continue to pray for people.  It seems invisible but it is not unheard or unfelt!

1.      Laurie D. – for my mom, Jane – doctors discovered a small cancerous growth but think it was found in time.  The doctors said that because of its location, it was a miracle that they found it at all.  Thank you God!

1.      Nancy B. & Sue C. – Our mom has regained her ability to swallow and is now eating and drinking well.  Praise the Lord!

2.      Jamie S. – My dad was saying that he never thought his nephew, Aaron, 3, would make it and said it is because of the church’s prayers.  My dad didn’t used to believe in prayer, but because of how well Aaron is doing, he believes in prayer more.

1.      Isaiah & Vesna B. – Praise the Lord for the safe delivery of our new baby boy, Joshua Caleb, 8 lbs., 4oz.  Pray for Vesna’s recovery from surgery.

1.      Tiffany M. (8/1/04) – for brother-in-law, Brian, surgery to remove tumor was successful and his recovery is going well.  The biopsy confirmed it wasn’t cancer.  Praise God.  Thank you for keeping him in your prayers.

1.      Jamie S. – My nephew, Aaron, who will be 4 in a couple of months, has gained 3 ½ pounds.  He still needs to gain more weight, but this is great news.  He is also able to stand by himself for a few seconds with is braces.  He is excited about learning how to walk.  He gets so excited, bouncing up and down and making running motions when asked if he wants to run with the kids.

1.      Paul J. – Mike R., a childhood friend who disappeared after his fiancé died, finally contacted me.  He sound like he is sober, doing better, and is going to start another weekly online Bible study with me.  Praise GOD for his safety and return to the body of Christ!  See also prayer request below.

1.      Antoinette B. – We found a new storage facility that has everything we need for receiving our product.  

2.      Christy R. – for friend’s son, Steven, 15, biopsy surgery on 6/28 on arm indicated no cancer.

3.      Christy R. – for Tricia, recovering from lung transplant, came home Friday, 7/2, after 4 mos. of hospitalization.  Thank you for praying her home!

          1.      Gary and Nan H. – Nan ’s mom, Flora, with congestive heart failure is feeling stronger for the first time in six months.

1.      Janet R. – my dad had a successful knee surgery and is home recovering.  Thank you for your prayers.

2.      Melissa S. – The Lord has blessed us with some money.  Thank you Lord!

1.      Christy R. – Tricia has had a phenomenal week.  All lifelines have been removed.  For the first time since November 2002 she is breathing without auxiliary oxygen, just room air.  She walked about eight feet on Wednesday.  Praise God!

1.      Marion C. – Thank you so much for the prayers for our daughter Nicki Burley.  She came through the brain surgery very well.  The surgeon finished 1.5 hrs. early and when she was awakened, it was apparent that she was quite normal.  Please continue to pray for her convalescence.

2.      Joe – Test for prostate cancer was negative!  Praise the Lord!

1.      Debby – Marvin is back safe and sound and had a wonderful time of encouraging the saints in Jerusalem , as they also encouraged him.  Praise to our Father!

1.      Christy R. – although she’s still in ICU and still needs our prayers, friend, Tricia, is slowly getting better after her lung transplant, regaining her strength, internal bleeding seems to have stopped, no rejection issues, able to eat and sleep.  Praise the Lord!

1.      Jim & Dayna Rew – thank you for your prayers for Kimmyn and her pregnancy.  Baby Ethan was born on April 15 (almost 4 weeks early).  Praise the Lord.

1.      Christy R. – for friend Clay.  Tests after surgery indicate that the entire tumor was removed and that it was a low grade cancer.  Praise the Lord!  Thank you for all your prayers.

1.      Sara G. – Mel is doing well and staying healthy, still working and enjoying his job, and had the chance to talk about God.  Praise the Lord.

1.      Christy R. – The surgeon got all of the tumor out of Clay’s back.  Praise the Lord and thank you for praying!  Still waiting for the results.

1.      Dan La. – for son in trouble – he’s been released!

2.      Dan Lo.– Brianna had been diagnosed with a brain tumor – she’s doing much better!

1.      Paula B. – Child support services found son’s dad.  Once a job verification is received, they’ll start garnishing his wages!  Praise God!

2.      Antoinette B. - Praise to God for getting us through the commuting deal.  John’s job in California is ending 1/29.  Praise for finding to great doctors and a therapist.  Doing much better with pain and mobility.

For week of  12/8/2003

1.      Nancy B. – My friend, Lisa, has finished her chemo and radiation treatments for cancer and is regaining her strength.  God has used many people in her life to minister to her and she’s full of thanksgiving to God.

2.      Nancy B. & Sue C. - Our mom has regained most of her speech now (a huge answer to prayer), and is slowly learning to walk again.  She has also come out of her depression, which has greatly improved her rehabilitation.  God has done a big work in her.  Thank you, Lord.

3.      Janet R. – God helped us to find a new home to live in just before Thanksgiving.  My sister is home from the hospital and doing well and so is our father.

For week of  12/1/2003

1.      Jamie S. – My nephew, Aaron, 3, is now eating, tasting different foods and swallowing them.  Praise God. 

For week of  11/24/2003

1.      Jim & Dayna R. – son, Jimmy, just celebrated his one-year sobriety and drug free; he and his wife, Holly, will be having their first baby in February.  Son, Jacob, just reached 90 days clean and sober. Praise God!  Both boys are a miracle and they thank the Lord.  Also Kimmyn and Andrew are having another baby in May.  The doctor says everything is going just fine now.  Thank you for your prayers for each of these kids.

1.      Marion C. – Nicki’s doctor has said that he thinks her MS is in remission.  She has been gaining strength back in her legs.  Keep praying!

For week of  10/20/2003

1.      Ramzey M. – Just want to say thank you for keeping Tiffany's dad (Tom) in your prayers.  Tom had the surgery on Thursday and it was a success.  Praise God!  The doctor said there were no surprises and the prostate cancer was removed.  Tom is home recovering just fine. Tons of praises to God and to all of you who kept Tom in your prayers.
