Well, its been awhile since the last update. The Africa well was amazing! God totally blessed us and we not only built one well, but we raised enough to get a second one more than started. God provided abundantly more than we could ask or think. Our last CSUF Coffee night was a success and we had a great time, we will do it again next semester. As for the summer we have some great stuff planned. We are going to see Mercy Me and David Crowder in the middle of the month of July. After the concert the men of the college group will join all he men of Calvary Chapel Fullerton on our annual men's retreat! Sometime during the summer we are planning a pool party and an all day Lord of the Rings Saturday. Should be a great summer and keep checking back. We'll keep you posted here on our website.

I just wanted to thank everyone who has donated to the Africa well fundraiser so far. Praise God we are almost there, we have less than a thousand dollars to raise and 2 more events to do it in! It looks like God is going to provide for us to meet our goal. Our next two events are on the same weekend, next weekend! On January 12th we will be having our Rummage Sale. If any of you have stuff to donate, then please bring it either to church on Sunday Morning, or Wednesday night (7p-9p,) Thursday night Service, or Friday night (7p-whenever.) We would also love any help from anybody out there who wants to help. Our last event will be on Sunday January 13th at Pick Up Stix in Fullerton on St. College Blvd. Please go to the Calvary Chapel Fullerton Website and print out a flier and use it at Pick Up Stix all day and we'll receive 20% of whatever you spend! Thanks for all of your support and may God be Glorified in all we do!

We’re building a well in Africa!! That’s right our College and Career group is trying to raise money to fund the building of a well for a village in Africa through Blood Water Mission and the Passion Conferences. We are attempting to raise $3,000 to donate to the “Do Something Now!” Campaign at the LA Regional Conference in late January. We are going into high gear for fundraising. We are in the middle of scheduling these exciting events: lunch at church, car wash, rummage sale, lunch at Del Taco, and our recycling drive. You can also donate to the Agape box and write Africa well in the memo line. Our first event, the bake sale, raised $242, a great start on our way to show God’s love to a hurt and suffering world!

You'll also want to look over our two calendars. The Local Calendar lets you know about many of the Christian events happening in the Greater LA area. The Group Calendar lets you know what our group is up to. The College and Career Group is open to all 18 to 20-somethings who want to learn what it is to follow after Jesus or those who are wondering what this whole Christian thing is all about. We hope and pray that this site will aid you in living a more fulfilling life in Christ.

We are going to Passion! What is Passion? Passion is a Movement of 18-25 year olds who want to make Christ’s Name and Renown the desire of their hearts. In January of 2008, a Passion Regional event will be held in LA. We are set on being there. The event costs $79. We are trying to raise money to rent a couple of hotel rooms to use during the conference. Plan on joining us! If you aren't already involved in our group, join us on a Wednesday night and check us out.
